Setup (one time, about 5 minutes)

Gmail only shows signature images that live at a public web address, so the images go on your website first.

1. Upload the 4 new files from ben-signature-images.zip to the same sig-phil folder that holds your signature images: sig-ben-logo.gif, sig-ben-name.png, sig-ben-headshot.png and sig-ben-headshot-brand.png. The 12 icons are shared with your signature and are already there.
2. The box below checks all 16 images and should say they were all found. If you put Ben's files in a different folder, paste that folder's address instead.
3. Ben signs in to his own Gmail, opens this page and clicks Copy signature under the version he wants. You can also copy it and send it to him.
4. In Gmail: Settings (gear) → See all settings → General → Signature → Create new. Name it, click inside the empty box and paste with Ctrl+V (⌘V on a Mac).
5. Under Signature defaults, choose it for new emails and replies. Then scroll down and click Save Changes.

Version 1 · Brand colors

Black and ice blue: an ice-blue ring on the photo and ice-blue divider and icons. All text is near-black on white for readability.

Version 2 · Black & white

Black and white only, closest to the reference style.
